POTENCY ANALYSIS

TERPENE ANALYSIS
Terpenes are responsible for the characteristic fragance of Cannabis as well as many medicinal properties. COMPREHENSIVE MICROBIAL ASSAY
Cannabis can be subject to contamination by microbial pathogens as a result of cultivation or post-harvest handling. Scepter offers six different microbial tests including Salmonella, E.coli and Asper gillus spp., and others by request.
RESIDUAL SOLVENT ANALYSIS
Concentrates like butane hash oil (BHO) are produced using organic solvents. Scepter Lab tests for 16 different residual solvents including: Propane, iso-Butane, Butane, Pentane, Ethanol, Methanol, Isopropanol, Methylene-Chloride, Acetone, n-Hexane, Cyclohexane, Benzene, Toluene, Heptane, Xylenes, and Ethyl Benzene
PESTICIDE TESTING
Stringent pesticide limits have been established by state regulations. Scepter uses state of the art mass spectroscopy to test for the presence of over 65 pesticides that may be present in Cannabis.

Scepter Lab provides free consulting services for our regular customers to help minimize contamination in cultivation and processing facilities. If microbial contamination is encountered, we can help you pinpoint the source and provide solutions before your samples fail.
FOREIGN MATERIAL, FILTH, WATER ACTIVITY AND SULFUR
In addition to the standard analytical tests, Scepter also performs microscopic analysis for foreign matter and filth and performs moisture analysis and water activity. The presence of sulfur on flower material or in concentrates can also be reported.
